Kids Kickboxing Classes in Grande Prairie | Junior Kickboxing Ages 6-11
Junior Kickboxing at Champion Gym adds kicks to the boxing foundation — roundhouse kicks, front kicks, and teeps alongside hand combinations. For children ages 6 to 11 in Grande Prairie, it builds full-body coordination, hip mobility, explosive leg strength, and the ability to think through longer technical sequences.
Coach Alex leads the kickboxing program. Classes run Tuesday and Thursday afternoons with a Saturday morning session. The first class is always free.

Boxing vs Kickboxing — Which Should My Child Try?
Both are excellent. Boxing develops hands, footwork, and composure in a focused environment. Kickboxing adds variety and full-body demand. Children who like movement variety often prefer kickboxing. The schedules are designed so that children can train both — boxing Mon/Wed, kickboxing Tue/Thu.
