Champion Youth Boxing Grande Prairie
Champion Youth Boxing at Champion Gym teaches teenagers ages 12-17 in Grande Prairie authentic boxing technique — footwork, combinations, defence, and ring awareness — in a structured, coach-led environment built for developing athletes.
What You Learn in Champion Youth Boxing
This isn’t a fitness class with boxing gloves. Students learn the same fundamentals that build competitive boxers: stance and movement, jab-cross-hook-uppercut combinations, defensive head movement, and how to read an opponent. Training is progressive — you build on each skill before moving to the next.
Classes include shadow boxing, bag work, pad work with coaches, partner drilling, and optional sparring for those who want to compete.
Ranked Progression
Champion Youth Boxing uses a shirt colour ranking system. As students develop their skills and demonstrate competency, they earn the next rank — giving training a clear direction and making progress visible. Each rank represents genuine accumulated skill, not just time served.
Why Champion Youth Boxing Works
Boxing builds things that carry off the mat: confidence that comes from knowing you can handle yourself, discipline from showing up and doing hard work, and physical fitness that stacks on itself week after week. Parents regularly tell us their teens are calmer, more focused, and more confident after a few months of training.
Your Coaches
Champion Youth Boxing is led by Coach Alex, Coach Jon, and Coach Colt — a coaching team with deep boxing backgrounds and a genuine commitment to developing each athlete individually. The instruction is serious, technical, and designed to meet students at their level.
